Carrier-free black sand is a kind of black colorant which is consist of carbon black and dispersing or lubricating additive. It is widely used in engineering modification like PA, PC, ABS, PBT, POM, HIPS, LCP and other plastic coloring and compounding. It is characterized by less additive amount, strong universality, high blackness, highlossy, high temperature resistance, excellent dispersion and there is no damage of the oniginal physical propertiesof plastic products. The appearance of black sand is divided into three types: big pellet, small pellet, flake andblack masterbatch appearance. The small pellet have adiameter of 0.5-20mm, the medium and big pellet have adiameter of 2.0-50mm, the flake particles have adiameter of 2.0-5.0mm and the black masterbatch size.
